Pamela
M. Hubbard is the Founding Executive Director of Golden Ciphers ~
Inspirational Whispers of Change, which is a non-profit, grassroots
organization that provides culturally based prevention programs for
youth 12 – 18 and their families.
Golden Ciphers specialized in creating individual community,
school and faith based programs, workshops and trainings to meet the
specific needs of these communities.
Mrs.
Hubbard has over 20 years experience as a community activist and working
in the social services field. She is an Ohio Certified Prevention
Specialist II, certified HIV/AIDS instructor and certified Family Life
Educator. Mrs. Hubbard
received her Associates of Science Degree in Community Mental Health
Technology from Cuyahoga Community College in 1989. She
is currently continuing her education at Case Western Reserve’s Mandel
Center for Nonprofit Organizations Certificate Program for Non Profit
Managers. As well as
continuing her education in the field of social services and Juvenile
Justice.
In
addition she is also an active National Rites of Passage initiate, a
Fellow of Case Mandel’s Treu-Mart
Youth Development Fellowship Program, an alumni of Neighborhood
Leadership Institute, a member of the Ohio Center for Law Related
Education DePaul Family Center Advisory Board, Central
Family to Family collaborative.
As
an independent consultant she is a trainer
for the Alcohol & Drug Addiction Services Board of Cuyahoga County
and Richland and Marion Correctional Institutions, Juvenile Detention
Center of Cuyahoga County and Cleveland
Job Corp as well as various community organizations, schools and faith
based organizations.
Mrs.
Hubbard has visibly demonstrated her concern for our children , families
and communities, and has received recognition for her involvement in the
above institutions.
As
a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great- aunt and friend She
understands the importance of spirituality as a foundation and family as
her primary focus.
